Compact and Transportable GPC/SEC

The Compact and Transportable GPC/SEC system is designed for the fast, simple, and precise determination of macromolecular properties through a single easy measurement. A GPC/SEC experiment provides a comprehensive view of the characteristics and properties, offering a chemical fingerprint that characterizes the sample to be analyzed. These characteristics are directly related to the macroscopic properties of the product, such as molar mass and chemical composition heterogeneity.

Key Features:

  • Portable Design: The transportable version of the GPC developed by Chromatotec is housed in two interconnected robust, shock-proof portable cases: one for the analytical device and the second for system control. This setup makes it ideal for field use, allowing the device to be transported as checked baggage.
  • Versatile Sampling: Operators can analyze up to 8 liquid samples using an internal carousel. The system is equipped with an electric 10 multi-valve and an injection loop valve, facilitating the injection of samples or standard and cleaner liquids into vials.
  • Flexible and Reliable: The system allows for tuning specific detector wavelengths and columns, adapting laboratory technology to field operational units. It provides reliable results with complex samples of varying viscosities, such as oils, in allocation meter approaches.
  • Easy to Use: The new transportable liquid chromatograph enables users to analyze hydrocarbon profiles quickly. A dispenser is used for sampling, and the liquid is sucked through the system, making it user-friendly and efficient.
  • Software Control: The analysis is controlled by Vistachrom, software developed by Chromatotec, ensuring precise control and data management.

Applications:

  • GPC/THF – Analysis of aromatics in oils (petroleum applications)
  • GPC/THF – Analysis of S8 (natural gas condensate)
  • GPC – Aqueous analysis of very large polymers
  • HPLC – Analysis of ketones and aldehydes in air with trapping on DNPH
  • HPLC or UHPLC – Analysis of PAHs in air or water
  • HPLC – Analysis of pesticides in water
