📣 Exciting News from Chromatotec! 👏
We are proud to announce that Chromatotec, in collaboration with our UK distributor We Care 4 Air, has been awarded a key contract for replacement Instrumentation for use on the UK Automatic Hydrocarbons Network. Four complete Chromatotec automatic GC systems will replace existing laboratory type GC.
This decision follows a successful field trial and evaluation of our system by Ricardo, on behalf of the Environment Agency.
Each system is a fully integrated solution, featuring:
- 3 x airmoVOC C2–C12 autoGCs capable of measuring up to 88 VOCs from ppt to ppb levels
- H₂ generators for carrier and FID fuel gas
- Zero air generators
- airmoCAL for automated calibration
- airmoOVOC C1C3 module for real-time measurement of oxygenated VOCs (OVOCs)
These advanced analyzers enable high-resolution monitoring of both volatile and oxygenated VOCs, which are crucial for understanding ozone formation and secondary pollutants for automatic network such as supersites.
The monitoring stations will form part of the ACTRIS network and provide trace-level measurements of more than 30 VOCs. Data will be managed and validated by Ricardo, the operator selected by the Environment Agency.
Installation sites include:
- Marylebone Road
- Eltham
- Auchencorth Moss
- Chilbolton (already operational)
